1990 Dodge Dakota Sport Convertible 4x4 Yes, 4 wheel drive!!! This is Rarest of the Rare Less than 900 convertibles were built in 1990, and a small percentage of them were 4x4 Sport editions. Mine has 242, 600 miles. It has been taken care of and it runs and drives great. 4 wheel drive works as it should. I might add it has never been off road. I purchased the Dakota from the 57 year old son of the original owner out in Temecula California. It has had a great life, and, having lived in a dry hot climate it's entire life, has no signs of any body rust . I am nearly finished restoring this rugged beauty. I had the truck beautifully painted the original Dupont White. The seats have been reupholstered and clean, and the bolsters re-padded. I installed a new carpet kit. There is a JVC stereo with decent speakers for pleasant top down cruising. I had the front brake calipers replaced; stopping power is excellent. I installed new plugs, wires, replaced the valve cover gaskets, flushed the radiator. Tires are good, has original rims that are painted black. Top is in excellent shape and does not leak. I still need to re install the door handles, door glass, and then the door panels.
